2. General information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it exclusively in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This website is a purely informational website: it does not use cookies, does not embed third-party content (such as external fonts, maps, videos or social media plugins) and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external hosting provider. When you visit this website, the hosting provider's servers automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. This information includes:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of the request
- Requested URL and transferred data volume
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Browser type and version, and operating system
This data is not merged with other data sources. It is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR: our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation, stability and security of this website. Log files are deleted or anonymised by the hosting provider within the customary short retention periods, unless a longer retention is required for security purposes (e.g. investigating abuse).
We have concluded a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) with our hosting provider. If the hosting provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this takes place on the basis of the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR (e.g. the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, the data you provide (name, contact details, content of your enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry is related to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding effectively to enquiries addressed to us.
We retain enquiry-related data until the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under German commercial and tax law, §§ 147 AO, 257 HGB) require longer storage.
5. Recipients of data
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is only passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract (e.g. to logistics partners for a delivery), if we are legally obliged to do so, or if you have consented.
6. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
To exercise any of these rights, an informal message to mail@syntegrata.de is sufficient.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
